Obaproof AB Top Coat 117 is a cement based waterproofing coating incorporating two polymer components. Apply directly to concretre and mortar to prevent water infiltration.

Product Overview
A high performance, two component polymer-modified cementitious coating engineered for both positive and negative side waterproofing. Ideal for sealing micro-cracks and sheilding concrete structure against carbonatin, frost, and chemical degration.

Coverage Rates

• Bathrooms, Balconies and Terraces (1.0kg/m² per coat)
• Waterproofing up to 1m water head (1.5kg/m² per coat) 
• Waterproofing more than 1m water head (2.0kg/m² per coat)

Obaproof AB Top Coat 117 must be applied in minimum of 2 coats. Maximum thickness per single layer must not exceed 5kg/m²

Application & Working Guidelines

• Surface Preparation: Concrete must be structurally sound, level, clean, and free of oils or debris.
• Mixing: Slowly add Part B (Powder) to Part A (Liquid) using a low-speed mixer until lump-free.
• Pot Life: Approximately 30 minutes at 30ºC (shorter in high-heat conditions).
• Recoating Interval: Allow 4 to 8 hours between coats (ensure the prior layer has formed a tack-free membrane).
• Curing: Full water-resistant cure takes 24 hours before installing subsequent tiles or protective screeds. For cementitious overcoating, allow the final coat to cure for at least 48 hours.
• Clean-up: Tools and equipment can be cleaned with clean water immediately after use. Cured product requires mechanical removal.

Storage & Safety

• Shelf Life: 6 months from manufacture date, unopened packaging stored in a cool and dry area.
• Safety Precautions: Alkaline based. Wear protective rubber gloves and safety eyewear during handling. In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with clean running water and consult a physician.
