Nippon Paint 8048 is a two-pack epoxy polyamide coating specially formulated for steel surfaces where abrasive blast cleaning is not practical. Its surface-tolerant formulation provides excellent adhesion and surface wetting on manually prepared, rusty steelwork, while forming a high-build, impervious barrier against moisture and corrosive elements.

With excellent corrosion and moisture resistance, Nippon Paint 8048 helps provide durable protection for steel structures. It can be used as a high-build primer, intermediate coat or self-priming high-build finish for non-immersion service, making it suitable for maintenance and refurbishment of steel structures.
